Don’t Stop The Music. Really, don’t!

Friday, June 4th, 2010

Bart B More is on it again!

After being picked up by Major Lazor in their BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix at the end of last year this track has gained serious momentum! With promo’s in worldwide DJ inboxes we’re getting support on an even wider scale. Lee Mortimer, Crookers, Steve Aoki and Robbie Rivera to name but a few.

Our Nigerian bwois Zemi and Jaffe aka Pink Elephants have been providing us with some serious pioneering shit on their upcoming album. We simply HAD to have them do a remix of “Don’t Stop The Music”. And man did it come out fine!

Due to drop June 16th, be sure to check out your local online retailer. ;-)

Making Noise with Bart B More & MC Flipside

Monday, March 1st, 2010

This isn’t just another re-release of one of the sickest tunes coming from Holland. The original already had support from most of the big DJs when it was released back in ‘07. Time flies…

Bart B More decided to hook up with Canada’s lyrical genius MC Flipside for this revamped, vocoded version of Make Some Noise. Both having worked on each others successful projects before the reconnection made sense. Bart’s raw insensitive beats make a perfect match the uncut sounds of MC Flipside, making noise is in the blood!

On remix patrol we found UK’s nastiest, Lee Mortimer willing and able get crackin’ on the original. Lee took the original vocal and had a proper energetic bass driven studio session! Dutch chameleon Jenner brought us a heavy no nonsense four to the floor rocky remix.

Making noise with Bart B More & MC Flipside. The way it should be done!

Music is the game, Pink Elephants is the name.

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Imagine the odds of pink elephants existing… Well stop imagining, they do! And they rock, bigtime!

Hailing from the Zamunda province, Nigeria the 2 elephants figured out a way to use their trunks in a studio, tweaking and freaking knobs as if they were plucking leaves from a tree. Second nature!

Brought together by fate, Zemi and Jaffe have taken their inspiration from the sunny dry planes of the Zamundese desert and put all that they missed growing up in their musical talent. Water, snow, beer and all kinds of precipitation have been scarce in their childhood. With their music the 2 legendary elephant try to give hope to the young generation of pink elephants out there, telling them there is water and beer and a colder, better world outside of Zamunda.

Discovered during a field trip, the Secure crew stumbled upon this inspiring duo, signing a worldwide exclusive deal for infinity, and beyond! Flash some crayons and mirrors and it’s like taking candy from a baby…

The twitter.com/PinkElephantsYo EP consists of 4 big tracks, put together in their own Ztoodio complex in downtown Oboema, Nigeria. Kicking off with Panja, raunchid synths accompany sweet chords and sounds. Heavy beats drop in and animals go nuts. Joseal brings the discoloop back where it belongs, crunching away alongside sweeping synthlines. Pleux Pjapiere is doing it different, edit galore and sampling animals is what runs the show today. Ending the EP with Tantu, a hard, no nonsense Pink Elephant banger,

So there it is, elephant-music. Gotta love it!
